Brittany is a second year PhD student in the department of government and politics at the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to starting her program at the University of Maryland, she was awarded her MA in War and Contemporary Conflict from the University of Nottingham and her BA in Anthropology at DePaul University. Her primary research area is American political behavior, with a specific interest in political psychology and the role of new media and extremist organizations.
