Info Session: Master of Science in Applied Political Analytics (APAN)

How can data help us understand public opinion, inform campaign strategy, and shape policy?

Join us to learn about UMD’s M.S. in Applied Political Analytics (APAN), a program that combines political science and data science to prepare students for careers in political research and analysis.

APAN’s 36-credit curriculum builds a foundation in political science alongside practical skills in research design, coding, database management, and data visualization. The program is offered as a standalone master’s degree for college graduates and as a combined 4+1 option for eligible UMD undergraduates.

Interested in working in campaigns, advocacy, polling, government, or other areas of politics and policymaking? Attend the information session to learn more about the program and ask your questions.
