APAN Alum Publishes Research on Dementia Care Access

Applied Political Analytics Program (APAN) alum Yael Dejene Beshaw (M.S.) recently led the data and analysis for a new study examining the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model, a nationwide program supporting comprehensive dementia care.

The report finds that many participating organizations provide limited public-facing information about their services, making it difficult for consumers to access or compare care options. The findings point to challenges patients and caregivers face when learning about dementia care options, underscoring the need for clearer, more accessible program information.
