Marcus Johnson Receives BSOS Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Award

GVPT Assistant Professor Marcus Johnson has received the Excellence in Service for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Award from the University of Maryland College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS).

The award recognizes members of the BSOS community whose work advances diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice through leadership, mentorship, community engagement, and impactful initiatives across the college.

A proud UMD alumnus, Johnson has been recognized for his commitment to students, mentorship, and building community across GVPT and BSOS through his teaching and service.
