Shibley Telhami was recently featured on The Ezra Klein Show, a podcast from The New York Times, joining Ezra Klein and Marc Lynch to discuss developments in the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon, and the broader political consequences across the Middle East.

Telhami, the Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development, Distinguished Scholar-Teacher, and director of the University of Maryland Critical Issues Poll, discussed the erosion of the two-state solution, changing Israeli domestic politics, the strategic role of settlements and military power, and the risks of wider regional escalation involving Lebanon and Iran. He also analyzed the evolving role of the United States and shifts in American public opinion toward the conflict.
