Deniz Cil is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Center for International Development and Conflict Management (CIDCM). She received her PhD degree from the University of Maryland, Government and Politics Department in December 2016. Her main research focuses on the implementation of peace agreements following civil wars. Her other research examines the effect of foreign aid in conflict and post-conflict countries, civilian organization in wartime, design of peace agreements, and the localized effect of UN peacekeeping.
