Hayasi, Nadya
Bio
Nadya Hayasi is a first-year Government and Politics Ph.D. student at University of Maryland, College Park.
Her research broadly focuses on political participation and mobilization, with particular attention to Asian American and immigrant communities. More specifically, her work aims to look at how in-language voter outreach shapes political engagement and voter mobilization among Asian Americans.
She holds an M.A. in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Political Science and History with certificates in Public Policy and Southeast Asian Studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
