Nicholas Miras is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland. His research interests focus on state politics, federal-state relations, public policy, and the presidency and Congress. His work has been published in Presidential Studies Quarterly, as well as The Politics of Impeachment (Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Politics-Impeachment-Margaret-Tseng/dp/163391688X).
He holds a B.S. in Economics and Global Business Studies from Manhattan College and an M.P.A. in Government, Politics, and Policy Studies from the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs, where he was also a Presidential Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress.
