Dr. Nicholas Miras received his Ph.D. from the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland. His research interests focus on state politics, federal-state relations, public policy, and the presidency and Congress. His work has been published in the British Journal of Political Science and Presidential Studies Quarterly, as well as The Politics of Impeachment (Westphalia Press).
He also holds a B.S. in Economics and Global Business Studies from Manhattan College and an M.P.A. in Government, Politics, and Policy Studies from the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs, where he was also a Presidential Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress. He lives in Silver Spring.
