Noory is a second year PhD student in the Department of Government and Politics at University of Maryland. Prior to enrolling at UMD, Noory worked as a researcher at the Jakarta-based think tank, Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Indonesia. His areas of interest include party politics, democratization, and causal inference with a particular focus on Southeast Asia.
