Gideon Ondap is a first year Government and Politics Ph.D. student at University of Maryland, College Park. His primary subfields are American politics and comparative politics. His research explores the implications of colonialism on the political behavior of immigrant and diaspora communities, particularly focusing on Filipino Americans. Prior to attending UMD, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
