Jessica is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, where she is studying American Politics. Her research interests include voting behavior, race and ethnic politics, and political psychology. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Political Science and a double minor in Campaigns and Elections and Communication Studies from the Honors College at the University of Southern Mississippi.
