Vargas, Sonia
Bio
Sonia Vargas earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research interests are race and identity politics in the United States, with a focus on second-generation immigrants. Prior to beginning at UMD Sonia received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Political Science and Anthropology.
