Ethan Kim is a Ph.D. student in the Government and Politics Department at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research primarily focuses upon the political economy of East Asian countries, specifically pertaining to the diplomatic and economic consequences of nationalism upon bilateral trade between countries in the Northeast Asian region. In addition, Ethan also has an interest in the political dynamics of the Korean Peninsula. Before beginning his graduate school education at the University of Maryland, Ethan received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California as well as his Master's Degree from the University of Chicago.
In his free time, Ethan enjoys watching the USC Trojans football team, playing tennis, and snowboarding.
