Ethan Kim is a Ph.D. student in the Government and Politics Department at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research primarily focuses upon the political economy of East Asian countries, specifically relating to the consequences of nationalism on bilateral trade. In addition, Ethan also has an interest in the political dynamics of the Korean Peninsula. Before his time at the University of Maryland, Ethan received his B.A. from the University of Southern California and his M.A. from the University of Chicago.
In his free time, Ethan enjoys playing tennis and the violin, hiking, and snowboarding.
