Augusto Lopez-Claros is the Executive Director and Chair of the Global Governance Forum and an international economist with over 30 years of experience, including senior roles at the World Bank and the IMF.

He will discuss "A Second United Nations Charter: Modernizing the UN for a New Generation," based on two years of work by experts at the Global Governance Forum. This project offers a unique glimpse into how experts are reimagining the UN to tackle today’s global challenges—climate change, security, and inequality.
