International Relations Concentration

Students pursuing the IR concentration will explore why states engage in war, how states maintain peace, the causes of global financial crisis, how international organizations change interstate relations, and other important global issues.

Bachelor of Science Track

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Government and Politics provides students with rigorous substantive and methodological training to understand, interpret, and produce empirical political science research. The B.S. track is primarily for students with a strong background and interest in statistics and data science. Students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in political science (or a related field) or careers that use quantitative research should consider the B.S. track in Government and Politics.
