Deniz Cil is an Assistant Research Professor at the Government and Politics Department (GVPT) and the Center for International Development and Conflict Management (CIDCM). Her main research focuses on the implementation of peace agreements following civil wars. Her other research examines the effect of foreign aid in conflict and post-conflict countries, civilian organization in wartime, design of peace agreements, and the localized effect of UN peacekeeping. She teaches courses on conflict and international institutions in GVPT's Master in International Relations (MAIR) Program.
