Lamason, Jacob
Bio
Jacob joined the Department of Government and Politics advising team in the summer of 2024. An alum of the GVPT program, he graduated from the University of Maryland (Go Terps!!) with a Bachelor's degree in Government and Politics with a concentration in International Relations, as well as History. In his current role, Jacob serves as an academic advisor for GVPT students, as well as the coordinator for the Minor in International Development and Conflict Management and the Environmental Politics and Policy specialization of the Environmental Science and Policy programs. Utilizing his firsthand experience as a GVPT alum, Jacob strives to facilitate student learning and development through fostering an engaging and supportive advising environment.
