Professor Shibley Telhami published commentary on the Trump Administration's Decision to Move Embassy to Jerusalem via the Brookings Instutition.  His article, "Why is Trump Undoing Decades of U.S. Policy on Jerusalem?", lays out this decision in light of previous American foreign policy decisions.  

Dr. Telhami writes that "the move would go against the very priorities that the administration has set for itself in the Middle East: fighting Islamist militancy and confronting Iranian influence."
