Charlie Hunt grew up in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and remained in the state to get his B.A. in Political Science from Brown University. After graduating in 2011, Charlie remained in Providence and served as Director of Public Affairs for a political consulting company for three years, helping manage issue campaigns and lobbying for private clients at the Rhode Island State House. Charlie is currently a doctoral candidate at ABD status in Government and Politics in the American subfield, and received his M.A. in December of 2017. He is also currently a research assistant for the Campaign Finance Institute. His research interests include congressional elections, partisanship and representation.
