The Center for American Politics and Citizenship (CAPC) has been granted funds by the Fund for
Latino Scholarship at the American Political Science Association to hire two Research Fellows. The
fellow should be interested and excited about the possibility of going to graduate school in a social
science field. Preference will be given to those who are interested in pursuing graduate studies in
political science and who are interested in issues of race and ethnicity. Fellowship applicants should
have a strong undergraduate record (at least a 3.0 GPA), and should be committed to issues of
diversity, inclusion, and social justice. The fellow will work with faculty, graduate, and other
undergraduate students. The student should have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours
(preferably 60). The selected fellow will be expected to work 10 hours a week and will be
compensated at the rate of $12 an hour.
